Just a Reminder.....
You can view the Oneida County Lakes and Rivers Association Newsletter, Ripples, by clicking on Oneida County Lakes & Rivers to the right, then clicking on their web page at the top, then scroll down and click on the blue box titled OCLR newsletters.
It has pertinent information on AIS and VHS concerns, stopping Aquatic Hitchhikers for Ice Anglers, a letter from the president, Bob Martini, and informational websites on more specific topics. The Lake Association is a member of this organization, which helps to protect and preserve the quality and riparian habitat of the inland waters of Oneida County. Check it out.

Pat Yourself on the Back.......
Lake Thompson residents, as this year we collected 90 pounds of food, and $250 in donations for The Rhinelander Area Food Pantry. A special thanks to those snowbirds who couldn't attend the party , but dug deep in their pockets anyway, to help the cause. I think you all made the Lake proud. I will post the site on the right so if you would like to visit there and see what other opportunities there are you can do so. I'll also write a little more about the pantry in a later post. Thank you all for your kind donations.
